The 2016 Kansas Junior State Championships Sends Qualifiers to Junior Nationals

At the 2016 Kansas Junior State 9-Ball Championships, held on June 4 at Shooters in Olathe, KS, a total of 14 players competed in two divisions for a chance to qualify for the BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships. While the 18 and Under division was won by reigning champion Manny Perez, he had already earned a qualifier spot in another event, so the spot was awarded to third place finisher Robert Patrick Jr.

Below are the top finishers in both the 18 ad Under and the 14 and Under divisions.

1st: Manny Perez, age 18 from Overland Park, KS
2nd: Evan Swett, age 15 from Wichita, KS – Qualified
3rd: Robert Patrick – Qualified
4th: Colby House

1st: Chase Stumfoll, age 11 from Independence, MO – Qualified
2nd: Jordan Brill, age 11 from St Joseph, MO – Qualified
3rd: Bobby Rains
4th: Nathan Asher
