PoolDawg To Raise Funds for the Billiard Education Foundation

Beginning today and running through October 31st, PoolDawg will be providing their customers with a means to help the Billiards Education Foundation raise money to support the growth of pool through youth billiards programs.

When purchasing a pool cue from a participating manufacturer, PoolDawg’s customers will be given the option to donate the free gift they would normally receive to the BEF. According to Michael Feiman, President of PoolDawg.com: “When customers buy pool cues from PoolDawg, they are often given the option to receive a free gift in the form of a case, a glove, chalk or a shaft cleaner. For the month of October, customers can choose to have PoolDawg send the free gift or the value of the free gift to the BEF (the choice of cash or product will be made by the BEF). All of us here at PoolDawg know that the future of pool and the billiards industry lies in growing the sport. The BEF’s primary function of promoting pool through education and junior programs aligns perfectly with these goals”.

“We’re so grateful for PoolDawg’s support and hope that more retailers can get involved in our fundraising efforts. The young players in our pool programs are the future of our sport,” said Samm Diep-Vidal, Executive Director for the Billiard Education Foundation. Customers will have the option to do this by purchasing a pool cue from any of the 20+ brands that participate in PoolDawg’s free gift promotion. This promotion will begin immediately and will run through the month of October.
